How To Prepare

Here’s how you can enjoy Sekaya Honeybush Delight Botanic Infusion.

  1. In a teacup or small teapot with infuser, put 1 to 2 teaspoons of the botanical blend. If you like it strong, add more.
  2. Pour 250ml of freshly boiled water and infuse for 3 to 4 minutes. To make a liter, put 4 to 8 teaspoons.
  3. Strain the botanicals from the water and set aside.
Honeybush is native to and cultivated in South Africa’s Eastern Cape region. Its flowers smell of honey, earning this plant a sweet name. The tea can be consumed daily and is usually used for treatment of coughs, or as an aid in regulating blood sugar in diabetes, or helping reduce hormone-related symptoms.
